Office, used

Microsoft Office is a suite of well-known programs for the office, business, school and for anyone working from home.

Cross-device and cross-platform

Microsoft Office is most widespread on Windows systems, but Apple users, who are otherwise very well served, can also use Microsoft Office with their operating systems iOS, macOS, iPadOS; Android and WindowsPhone systems are also served by the small apps.

One special feature of Office for Windows is that it includes the database application Access, which is not available for any other system.

With Office 365, today Microsoft 365, the Office-"world" was moved to the cloud. Here the applications are installed locally, but are connected to the cloud via the company account or the private Microsoft account.

For some a great innovation for collaboration and mobility; for others a question of trust with regard to Microsoft.

Apple MAC

For users who use Microsoft Office on the Mac, the 2011, 2016 and 2019 editions are also available used. The installation is relatively simple, as everything here is very automated.

Microsoft Access is not included in these packages.

Windows

The largest group of users also have Access available with the edition of Office for Windows. In the Office Pro Plus package this application is included. However, the Office Standard Edition is the most common, as it contains everything from Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.

Near monopoly

In Europe and the USA, Microsoft Office is the absolute market leader among the "office suites". Although very good packages are available with the free alternatives OpenOffice etc. When it comes to file exchange and compatibility, Microsoft Office is always the winner. Time and again the allegedly good compatibility of OpenOffice and MS Office frustrates users. Because of its wide distribution, there is no alternative to Microsoft Office in the professional environment.

Microsoft Office for Windows

The current edition of Office 2019 is offered as a so-called "perpetual version", in contrast to the versions offered as a subscription, those designated 365.

Since the perpetual versions are also still available in the 2010, 2013 and 2016 versions in our offering, you can find your favorite Office here.

The best Office version.

That is really a matter of taste. The newer the version, the more it leans toward the cloud. For anyone who wants more or less, this already serves as an aid to decide.

Office 2010 no longer receives updates, but is that really a reason not to buy this very inexpensive version?
